PENICHE

Portugal is the European surfing center and Peniche is the surf center of Portugal. There are endless sandy beaches and the safest spots for beginner surfers. Peniche has incredible cliffs rising above the endless ocean. The second westernmost point of Europe — Cabo Carvoeiro is located in Peniche. Here or on the rocks, where we organize trips on Sundays, you can meet the sunset. It will win your heart!

In addition, the city itself has a vast variety of bars and restaurants where you can drink the famous Portuguese port wine and local wine and try fresh seafood: fish, squid, octopus, shrimps, snails, persebe, etc.

In the center of Peniche there is a fort where you can walk around in your free time. The fortress was built to protect the kingdom from attacks from the sea, then there was a political prison and now it is a museum. From the port of Peniche, boats head to Berlenga seagulls island, where you can try diving.

The Baleal Peninsula and the small town of Ferrel are next to Peniche. Baleal is known for its parties and night bars, so nightlife lovers won’t be bored either. And in Ferrel there are many surf shops.
